Putting it Together is a musical revue showcasing the songs of Stephen Sondheim. Drawing its title from a song in Sunday in the Park with George, it was devised by Sondheim and Julia McKenzie. The revue has received several productions, beginning with its premiere in England in 1992, Broadway in 1999 and the West End in 2014.

Nickelodeon is bringing the original SpongeBob SquarePants voice cast to Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years, the brand-new animated spinoff of the beloved hit series. Premiering this July, the CG-animated prequel (13 episodes) follows 10-year-old SpongeBob during his summer at sleepaway camp and stars Tom Kenny (SpongeBob SquarePants), Bill Fagerbakke (Patrick Star), Rodger Bumpass (Squidward), Clancy Brown (Mr. Krabs), Carolyn Lawrence (Sandy Cheeks) and Mr. Lawrence (Plankton), all of whom are reprising their iconic roles in this new series.

California Symphony Announces Viet Cuong As New Young American Composer-in-Residence

California Symphony and Music Director Donato Cabrera announced today that Viet Cuong has been selected as the orchestra's new Young American Composer-in-Residence, for the three-year period from August 1, 2020 through July 31, 2023. Launched in 1991, the intensely competitive Young American Composer-In-Residence program has been hailed as a?oemodel for residency programs across the country,a?? (Mercury News) offering outstanding, emerging American composers a unique opportunity to write orchestral music while working with a professional orchestra and conductor, and to engage with the local Bay Area community over a three-year period.

CHUCK BERRY: BROWN EYED HANDSOME MAN is a collection of performances by the greatest rock icons in history performing favorite songs by their self-proclaimed hero Chuck Berry. A historic record of the decades-long and continuing impact of the father of rock-'n'-roll, the program presents — for the first and possibly only time ever — full performances from the legends of rock music honoring the man they agree started it all. Artists include The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Jimi Hendrix, Tom Petty, Linda Ronstadt, Jeff Lynne and more, filmed at the heights of their own careers, performing the work of Chuck Berry. Berry himself is also featured in a number of solos and duets. Narrated by Danny Glover, CHUCK BERRY: BROWN EYED HANDSOME MAN is part of special programming premiering on PBS stations beginning Saturday, February 29, 2020 (check local listings).
