Tom Jones, the lyricist and book writer of The Fantasticks, will play his final performances as Henry (The Old Actor) in The Fantasticks, the world's longest-running musical, this Sunday, June 6 at 3pm and 7:15pm. Jones first played the role in 1960 when The Fantasticks premiered at The Sullivan Street Playhouse.

Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) announces the directors of the upcoming reading series 2010 TRU Voices New Plays Reading Series, which will celebrate women in theater with plays all written, produced and directed by women.

The upcoming PBS documentary, 'The Tenth Inning', will be narrated by Tony nominee, Keith David. Tony Award nominee Brian Stokes Mitchell will join the cast of ABC's 'Ugly Betty' for a guest starring role as Vanessa Williams' ex in an upcoming episode, TVGuide.com is reporting. Mitchell will play the role of Don, a simply guy who is the antithesis of Wilhelmina. It is reported that Mitchell's role may be recurring. The episode will air sometime in March.
