  The producers of the Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof announce that ITZHAK PERLMAN, the reigning virtuoso of the violin, has recorded a special bonus track for the upcoming New Broadway Cast Album of Fiddler on the Roof.  PERLMAN has recorded 'Excerpts from Fiddler on the Roof' arranged by John Williams.

Big news for Fiddler fans! Broadway Records has just announced plans to release a New Broadway Cast Album of Fiddler on the Roof. It will have its worldwide release on March 18th and be available to purchase at The Broadway Theatre beginning March 8th.

Sher has directed Burstein on Broadway in the revivals of Golden Boy and South Pacific, as well as in Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown. It will be choreographed byHofesh Shechter, inspired by the original choreography of Jerome Robbins, and the music director will be Ted Sperling (The King and I, South Pacific). In a new interview with USA Today, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF choregrapher Hofesh Shechter discusses adding modern moves to the the upcoming Broadway revival of the classic musical.

The choreographer for the new Broadway production is an the Israeli-born star of the U.K.'s contemporary dance scene.

The upcoming Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof will begin performances next week, on Friday, November 20, 2015, with an official opening night on Sunday, December 20, 2015, at The Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway). It will star Danny Burstein as Tevye, Jessica Hecht as Golde, Adam Dannheisser as Lazar Wolf, Adam Kantor as Motel, Alix Korey as Yente,Samantha Massell as Hodel, Melanie Mooreas Chava, Ben Rappaport as Perchik, Nick Rehberger as Fyedka, Alexandra Silber as Tzeitel and more.
