Fosse is a three-act musical revue showcasing the choreography of Bob Fosse. After 21 previews, the original Broadway production, conceived and directed by Richard Maltby, Jr. and Ann Reinking and choreographed by Reinking and Chet Walker, opened on January 14, 1999 at the Broadhurst Theatre, where it ran for 1093 performances.

Das traditionsreiche Stage Theater des Westens fuhrt damit sein Spielplankonzept fort, die großten Musicalklassiker fur kurze Spielzeiten nach Berlin zu holen. URINAL - O Musical, the Brazilian version of URINITOWN, directed by Ze Henrique de Paula, arrives in Sao Paulo at the Teatro do Nucleo Experimental, in Barra Funda. The stage production, whose project was awarded by Ze Renato Theater Award, has as its main inspiration the German cabarets of the first half of the twentieth century, especially the works of Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill.

This toe-tapping musical features some 38 Billboard hits from the legendary team of Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller. This show, billed as 'the hottest joint in town', is directed by Tony Award nominee Chet Walker and features the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame group, The Coasters. The full Smokey Joe's Cafei cast of fourteen singers and dancers perform to a live on-stage musical ensemble.

The New York Post writes that convicted forger and producer Garth Drabinsky is planning his next stage project. Rumor is Drabinsky, producing via entertainment company StageVentures, has booked Toronto's Elgin Theatre for a new musical based on the 1988 film MADAME SOUSATZKA, which he produced, starring Shirley MacLaine.

From September 4-14, 2014, Houston Ballet launches its 45th season with the company premiere of John Neumeier's three-act ballet A Midsummer Night's Dream. The ballet is based on Shakespeare's lighthearted play of the same name and follows the hijinks and hilarity that ensues when a well-intentioned plan with a love potion goes awry. Created in 1977, A Midsummer Night's Dream has served as Mr. Neumeier's calling card, being seen as one of his most joyous and popular creations. Houston Ballet is the first American ballet company to perform the famous work and it is the first piece by Mr. Neumeier to enter the Houston Ballet repertoire.
