Rubicon Theatre Director of Education and Outreach Beverly Ward announced today that Ventura actor Joseph Fuqua will teach three one-day workshops at Rubicon Theatre Company in November, 2018. Mr. Fuqua is a Yale-trained performer with decades of professional theatre experience and is also a Company Member at Rubicon, where he has performed in more than 20 productions.

In their twelfth season, Guerilla Opera's board of directors appoints Aliana de la Guardia and Julia Noulin-Merat as co-artistic directors. De la Guardia and Noulin-Merat have been working together to produce the experimental company's world premiere operas and productions since 2009. Together, now they will serve as the faces of the company.

Underscore Theatre Company today announced that Laura Stratford will step down as the company's Artistic Director in March 2019 to focus on her career as a lyricist and librettist. Since co-founding the company in in 2011, Stratford has served as Executive Director, Co-Artistic Director, and eventually sole Artistic Director. Underscore will launch a search for a new Artistic Director this week.

The Cortland Repertory Theatre Youth Programs (CRTYP) welcome back the Traveling Lantern Theatre Company, a national youth theatre touring organization, with their production of "Sherlock Holmes Takes The Case".  This is a one-time only performance to be held on Sunday, November 4th at 2:00 PM at CRT Downtown, 24 Port Watson Street in Cortland.  Seating is general admission and tickets are $7.00 per person.  The game is afoot!  Kids (and adults) in the audience help the world's most famous detective, with his trusty right-hand man Watson, follow the clues and solve the mystery! This two-actor, interactive production provides a wonderful introduction for young audience members to the brilliant super sleuth.
