Broadway's new musical CHAPLIN started previews this week and opens September 10 at the Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47th Street). CHAPLIN is a new musical depicting the life of film icon Charlie Chaplin, with music and lyrics by Christopher Curtis and book by three-time Tony Award-winner Thomas Meehan (Annie, The Producers, Hairspray) and Christopher Curtis. Trustus Black Box's AMAZONS AND THEIR MEN Opens 1/26

Trustus Theatre is bringing the complexities of German wartime filmmaking to Columbia as Amazons and Their Men opens in the intimate 50-seat Trustus Black Box Theatre. A darkly comedic look at the role of artists during wartime, Amazons and Their Men is inspired by the life and work of controversial Nazi propaganda filmmaker Leni Riefenstahl. Casts include Annie Golden, former lead singer for 'The Shirts' who has appeared in the movie HAIR; Marin Hinkle from CBS' TWO AND A HALF MEN; Annie Parisse from NBC's LAW & ORDER; Jenny Ikeda from MTC's acclaimed production of TOP GIRLS; and Dan Lauria from the long running series THE WONDER YEARS.
