Meet Blue. Happy in his blue world. This is a simple story of what happens one day when color comes into his life. The show introduces the idea of tolerance and understanding in an age appropriate theatrical experience. Blue is filled with lots of fun, humor and whimsy.

Argentinian saxophonist Gato Barbieri will play from Jan. 25 - 27, and percussionist Poncho Sanchez will finish up the festival from Jan. 28 - 31.

Applause Theatre & Cinema Books will release the most recent version of 'The Best American Short Plays,' in 2010, the publishing house has announced, and will include the 2003-2004, 2006-2007, and 2008 - 2009 version in the anthology. Play featured include works by Neil LaBute, David Ives, and Murray Schisgal.

The following week, Music Director Alan Gilbert leads the Orchestra in Webern's Im Sommerwind, Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 23, with Leif Ove Andsnes as soloist, Webern's Symphony, Op. 21, and Schumann's Symphony No. 2. The third January broadcast, also conducted by Mr. Gilbert, features Yefim Bronfman as soloist in Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 2, with Rachmaninoff's Symphony No. 2 concluding the program.
