"Baby" tells the story of three couples on a university campus as they deal with the painful, rewarding and agonizingly funny consequences of this universal experience. Happy Birthday Leslie Uggams! Uggams starred in Hallelujah, Baby!, which premiered on Broadway in 1967, and won the Tony Award for Best Actress in a musical. She appeared on Broadway in the revue Blues in the Night in 1982 and in the musical revue of the works of Jerry Herman, Jerry's Girls in 1985. Later Broadway roles include Muzzy in Thoroughly Modern Millie (2003 - 2004) and Ethel Thayer in On Golden Pond at the Kennedy Center in 2004 and on Broadway at the Cort Theatre in 2005. In 2001 she appeared in the August Wilson play King Hedley II, receiving a nomination for a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play.
Howard Davies will direct Steve Waters' new play TEMPLE, a fictionalised account of the events that took place during the 2011 Occupy demonstration outside St Paul's Cathedral. Simon Russell Beale will return to the Donmar stage to play the Dean having previously starred in The Philanthropist, Twelfth Night and Uncle Vanya (for which he won the 2003 Olivier Award for Best Actor). The show starts tonight, May 21, with an official opening slated for May 27. TEMPLE runs through July 25, 2015.

Josefina López, the award-winning playwright and co-screenwriter of Real Women Have Curves and Founding Artistic Director of CASA 0101 Theater in Boyle Heights, CA will receive an Honorary Doctorate Degree in the Arts from her Alma Mater, Columbia College Chicago on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 10:00 a.m., at which time López will deliver a Commencement Address to the Class of 2015. López graduate with a B.A. degree in Liberal Arts from Columbia College Chicago in 1993.
