Cortland Repertory Theatre, one of New York State's longest running professional summer theatres, has announced their 48th annual season for the summer of 2019. All six mainstage shows will make their CRT debuts.

The Drama League announced today the 2019 line-up of DirectorFest, the only festival in the United States exploring the art of contemporary stage directing. For its 35th year, the festival will include six fully-staged productions, a showcase evening of a new musical, discussion forums, and conversations with America's notable directors. 

A trio of renowned guest artists with distinct musical voices-pianists Emanuel Ax and Daniil Trifonov and soprano Dawn Upshaw-headline the NJSO's Winter Festival, "Music Speaks," in January 2019. The Orchestra's signature artistic event takes place across three weekends, January 10-27, in six New Jersey venues.

MerleFest, presented by Window World, is proud to announce the initial lineup for MerleFest 2019, which will be held April 25-28. The annual homecoming of musicians and music fans returns to the campus of Wilkes Community College in Wilkesboro, North Carolina, in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The complete lineup for MerleFest 2019 will be announced over the next few months. Today's lineup announcement includes Wynonna & The Big Noise, Keb' Mo', The Earls of Leicester, Sam Bush, Tyler Childers, Peter Rowan and The Free Mexican Air Force, and many more. The 2019 Late Night Jam on Saturday, April 27th will start at 10:30 p.m. and run well past midnight, hosted by Chatham County Line. This very popular after-hours hootenanny in the Walker Center gathers many performers from the festival for impromptu artistic collaborations and one-of-a-kind superstar jams that have become legendary in the festival's history. Ticket sales for both the festival and Late Night Jam begin at 10 a.m. EST on Nov. 13th.

Priscilla Beach Theatre (PBT) announces its 2019 season will feature six major musical productions, including Hairspray and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, from May through October on its historic barn stage. Season ticket subscriptions go on advance sale for current subscribers on Dec.1, then open for new subscribers on Dec. 5, 2018. The 2019 Season includes large, well-known Broadway musicals, as well as award-winning, small cast productions including the current London west end hit, Heathers the musical.

The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical, the musical adaption of the New York Times best-selling novel by Rick Riordan, will stop at the Beacon Theatre from Thursday, March 28 through Sunday, March 31, 2019 for six performances. Boxcar Theatre is proud to announce a partnership with SF Sketchfest next year, titled SF Sketchfest at The Speakeasy: An Immersive Comedy Experience. The nationally recognized festival celebrates its 18th season, January 10 - 27, 2019, and for the first time Boxcar will co-produce six SF Sketchfest shows while its immersive hit, The Speakeasy, remains on hiatus. The Speakeasy will close for the holidays after the matinee on Sunday, December 2, with new shows starting on Thursday, January 31, 2019. CBS today announced the six writers selected to participate in the 2018-2019 Writers Mentoring Program. Since its inception in 2004, the program has served to provide mentorships, access and opportunity for writers.

Rovio Entertainment has partnered with the six-time NBA champion Chicago Bulls to unveil the 'Angry Birds Eye View Cam.' This brand-new camera angle will be featured on top of both backboards at all Chicago Bulls home games at the United Center throughout the 2018-2019 NBA season, providing dynamic live footage for fans from above the rim.

Kaufman Music Center's Ecstatic Music Festival (EMF) returns for its ninth year, bringing together composers and performers from diverse musical backgrounds for six, one-night-only performances featuring world premieres, new arrangements and the opportunity to hear artists discuss their work. Hailed as 'the alt-classical world's main showcase' (The New York Times) and 'a feather in the cap of the avant-classical scene' (The New Yorker), the festival kicks off on January 7, 2019 and runs through March 21. The only festival that exclusively presents new work resulting from collaborations, the EMF is curated by composer and New Amsterdam Records Co-Director Judd Greenstein with Merkin Hall Director Amy Roberts Frawley.

 Multi-GRAMMY Award-winning superstar Bruno Mars will ring in 2019 with two performances at T-Mobile Arena Sunday, Dec. 30 and Monday, Dec. 31. Both shows are scheduled to begin at 8 p.m.

TobyMac's popular “HITS DEEP Tour” will trek 34 stops nationwide in 2019 with Jeremy Camp, Jordan Feliz, Ryan Stevenson, We are Messengers and Aaron Cole. The 7X GRAMMY winner's headlining jaunt is a partnership with K-LOVE, Air1, Awakening Events and Food for the Hungry. A full house of top-tier comedians are scheduled to headline the 2019 Aces of Comedy series inside The Mirage Hotel & Casino.
