Hale Centre Theatre in Gilbert presents the hit romantic comedy Kiss and Tell. Playing Monday and Tuesday nights from September 12th through November 14th. This hilarious Broadway and Hollywood smash, features a family feud that begins when two teenage best friends, Corliss and Mildred, come up with a scheme to sell kisses at a USO bazaar. Endearing love plots and madcap mistaken identities evolve from there, including the secret marriage of Mildred to a young Air Force officer and a prospective visit from the stork. Their bickering parents precipitate more problems than they're able to solve, including a lawsuit and countersuit.  

Catherine Neville, publisher of Feast Magazine as well as creator of the Emmy-winning Feast TV, announces today plans to develop a national television series to be presented by Nine Network of Public Media for distribution to public television stations nationwide. The series is slated for a Fall 2018 debut.

Woody Allen's stage musical based on his Academy Award-winning film - a hilarious and high stepping homage to both the gangster films and movie musicals of the 1930's - will be staged for the first time by a Chicago company when NightBlue Performing Arts opens its production of the musical on Monday, September 11, following previews from Friday, September 8 through Sunday, September 10.  Press opening is Monday, September 11 at 7:30 pm. BULLETS OVER BROADWAY will run through Sunday, October 8 at Stage 773, 1225 W. The endearing Bible story tells the epic saga of Joseph, the favorite son of Jacob in the Book of Genesis. Joseph is a boy blessed with prophetic dreams and given a coat of many colors. Unfortunately, he is the object of severe envy to his brothers who plot to kill him, but end up selling him into slavery instead.

New Line Theatre, "the bad boy of musical theatre," has announced that for the first time in its history, New Line is selling season tickets, for its 27th season of adult, alternative musical theatre, including the St. Louis premiere of the four-woman rock opera LIZZIE, a very different take on the Lizzie Borden legend, running Sept. 28-Oct. 21, 2017; followed by Cole Porter's satiric masterpiece ANYTHING GOES, running March 1-24, 2018; and the St. Louis premiere of the world's first bio-historical musical comedy, YEAST NATION, written by the Urinetown team, running May 31-June 23, 2018. Tickets go on sale Aug. 1. All New Line's mainstage shows will be in the company's home, the Marcelle Theater, in Grand Center, St. Louis' arts district.

Richard Tucker Music Foundation named soprano Nadine Sierra as winner of 2017 Richard Tucker Award; simultanously, it announced its roster of study and career grant recipients.

Soprano Nadine Sierra - who at 28 years old is already establishing herself as a fixture at many of the world's leading opera houses, including those of Paris, Milan, Berlin, and New York - was named today by the Richard Tucker Music Foundation as the winner of the 2017 Richard Tucker Award.

The Camp Broadway Kids, a musical theatre ensemble comprised of 60 theatre-loving kids, ages 12-16, will be featured at The New York Pops 34th Birthday Gala at Carnegie Hall on Monday, May 1, 2017.

Caissie Levy will star as Elsa and Patti Murin will star as Anna in Disney's new Broadway musical Frozen, opening at the St. James Theatre in spring 2018.
