Tameka Empson makes a much-anticipated return to the Hackney stage where she performed regularly between 2004 and 2009 before being cast as Kim Fox-Hubbard in EastEnders. Aladdin will mark her first stage appearance since joining the soap and will see her return to the role of the Empress alongside Hackney Empire's Olivier Award-winning Grande Dame Clive Rowe. Aladdin will run from 24 November 2018 to 6 January 2019, with opening night for press on 5 December.

Hampstead Theatre has announced the first three productions of 2019.

Robin Hood, the Prince of thieves, is on a mission with his merry band of men to get robbin' the rich to feed the poor. Along the way he meets fair Maid Marian and they must undertake a quest to save the poor people of England from the evil Sherriff of Nottingham who is plotting to steal the crown. Charlie Stemp will return to the London Palladium to play The Prince in this year's Pantomime, Snow White at the London Palladium along with Danielle Hope who will play the title role of Snow White. They join the previously announced Dawn French as The Wicked Queen, Julian Clary as The Man in The Mirror, Paul Zerdin as Muddles, Nigel Havers as The Understudy, Gary Wilmot as Mrs Crumble with Vincent and Flavia as The King and The Queen for this strictly limited 5 week run.

Simply charming! Former Hello Dolly! cast member Charlie Stemp has signed on to return to the London Palladium to star as Prince Charming in the holiday pantomime, Snow White. Stemp will appear opposite Danielle Hope who has been cast in the title role.
