In May 2017, Utah Opera will present Mozart's “Don Giovanni,” a tale of love, seduction, and murder as seen through the stylized lens of a 1950s “film noir” cinematic approach. This production will be performed five times at the Janet Quinney Lawson Capitol Theatre on May 13, 15, 17, 19 at 7:30 PM and May 21 at 2 PM. Initial casting is announced today (20 April 2017) for Qdos Entertainment's London Palladium production of Dick Whittington.  Following the success of Cinderella last year, the production will see the return of Julian Clary who will play Spirit of the Bells, Paul Zerdin as Idle Jack and Nigel Havers as Captain Nigel.  Further casting and creative team will be announced shortly. 

Cover My Tracks, a new production with live music, starring Charlie Fink and Jade Anouka will be performed at The Old Vic from Monday 5 to Saturday 17 June at 10pm, as part of Lates at The Old Vic.

The Belgrade Theatre in Coventry has teamed up again with Imagine Theatre and panto veteran Iain Lauchlan this year to create a brand new production of Dick Whittington - a very popular title choice in the Midlands this year it seems! Santa's New Sleigh was written for the Curve theatre Leicester in December 2012 and was picked up by producer Sam Bradshaw for the Lichfield Garrick last year. After selling out in Lichfield, the show opened last week in Peterborough and is now flying into London's West End until 10th December.
