Dame Sarah the Cook - star of the Belgrade Christmas panto - is appealing for brave men from across Coventry and Warwickshire to join her on stage this Christmas in Dick Whittington, running on the Belgrade's Main Stage from 23 Nov 2016 - 7 Jan 2017.

This glamorous older woman is looking for a fearless younger man to help her cook up a treat alongside her hopeless son Idle Jack, who is full of half-baked ideas. No previous kitchen experience is necessary but a spoonful of courage and a good sense of humour is desirable.

The unsuspecting man will join Dame Sarah the Cook on stage for the legendary 'slosh' routine where things might get a little messy in the kitchen...

This is the perfect opportunity to nominate boyfriends, husbands, dads, brothers, friends, work-mates and bosses to get sloshed on stage and make it an unforgettable Christmas night out at the theatre!

Dame Sarah has already turned down offers from some of the world's top celebrity chefs such as Gordon Ramsey and Paul Hollywood, who have been unable to resist her dazzling beauty!

She has particularly high standards and is looking for a Michelin star-man, with no margarine for error! This means that all nominees should be aged 18 years or over, with a full bill of health and must be seated in the stalls of the auditorium.

Most importantly, they must be willing to get up on stage during a performance of Dick Whittington and dame, sorry, game for a laugh!

This year's brilliant Christmas comedy follows Dick on his quest for fame and fortune and to see if the streets of London really are paved with gold. Can Dick find love, can his faithful cat rid London of Queen Rat and her hordes of little rats and will his dream of becoming Mayor of London ever come true?

If you know of any unsuspecting men that are coming to see the show who aren't afraid to let Dame Sarah handle their sausages, please nominate them by emailing the name of the person you would like to put forward, along with the time and date of the performance he will be attending to Steve Cressy at scressy@belgrade.co.uk

Please include 'Panto Nomination' in the subject line of your email. The person nominated must be sitting downstairs in the stalls so if possible, please provide the seat number or row he will be sat in.

You can also submit your nomination by post. Title your letter 'Panto Nomination' and mark it for the attention of Steve Cressy, Company Stage Manager - then either send it to* The Belgrade Theatre, Belgrade Square, Coventry CV1 1GS, or hand it in at box office.

The (un)lucky man won't know a thing about it until Dame Sarah comes to find him during the show so this is the perfect opportunity to play a joke on a boss, wind-up your dad or simply get revenge on a friend!

Tickets for Dick Whittington are available now from the Belgrade's Box Office on 024 7655 3055 priced from £16 to £24.75 with child and concession tickets from £11. Family tickets are priced from £43 to £69 and cheaper tickets can be purchased online via www.belgrade.co.uk
