The Jeff Awards announced today a total of 115 nominations in 19 categories for the 45th Annual Non-Equity Jeff Awards.

Georgia Ensemble Theatre (GET) Co-Founder and Producing Artistic Director Anita Allen-Farley has announced Season 26 of the professional theatre company in North Fulton County.

Paul McGill (The Legend of Georgia McBride, Hedwig and the Angry Inch) will choreograph The Music Man at Asolo Rep this fall.  Directed by Jeff Calhoun (Newsies), the production will star Noah Racey (Never Gonna Dance) and run November 13 through December 29, 2018.  Additional casting and creative team members will be announced at a later date.

Spring is in the air and Summer is just around the corner and that means a hopping theatre scene is in full force on Long Island. For the past almost seven years, I've truly enjoyed traveling the Island to tell you about the amazing shows and extraordinary talent that we have. As such, below are some of my picks for this coming season. Ok, to be honest, I'd have listed every show if I could! This week ArtsBridge announced the nominees for the 10th Anniversary Georgia High School Musical Theatre Awards - Shuler Hensley Awards. 38 public and private schools from throughout the state were nominated in 17 categories. The awards show is the culmination of a year-long professional development program and will showcase the next generation of Georgia's musical theatre talent. Presented by the Georgia Lottery, the awards show will air on Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB) over its nine-station statewide television network live from Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre on April 19, 2018 from 7-9 pm.
