La MaMa presents Clover, a new experimental theater drama about America's history of violence by Erik Ehn, directed by Glory Kadigan with original music by Maya Solovey and original puppet design & puppetry direction by Jeanette Oi-Suk Yew. The first events and artistic collaborators for Where Are We Now?, a new festival presented by avant-garde art collective and provocateurs Neu! Reekie! as part of Hull UK City of Culture 2017, have been announced today. The festival will take place from 2 until 4 June 2017 with the first events on sale now at www.hull2017.co.uk.

In February of 2016, EXIT Theatre - the original epicenter of indie theatre in San Francisco - presented a brand new experiment: the Fog City Magic Fest, a week of shows from some of the Bay Area's most acclaimed magicians, produced by EXIT Theatre and curated by co-founders, national magicians, and Bay Area treasures Jay Alexander and Christian Cagigal. The Fog City experiment was a smashing success, with attendance topping that of any other first-year festival produced by the EXIT.

Directed by two-time Obie Award winner Anne Kauffman (Marjorie Prime, Detroit, Maple and Vine at Playwrights; You Got Older; Belleville; This Wide Night; Smokefall), A LIFE will be the second production of the theater company's 2016/2017 Season.

Skydance, a diversified media company that creates elevated, event-level entertainment for global audiences, and Alibaba Pictures, Alibaba Group's entertainment affiliate, today announced that they will join forces to finance and produce a Flying Tigers feature film for global release. It has been designated by Skydance Media and Alibaba Pictures as a high-priority development project. The screenplay will be written by Oscar-nominated writer Randall Wallace (Braveheart) and the film will be produced by David Ellison and Dana Goldberg of Skydance together with a team from Alibaba Pictures.
