A BRONX TALE THE MUSICAL will open on Broadway on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at the Longacre Theatre (220 West 48th Street). Previews will begin Thursday, November 3, 2016. The new musical will be co-directed by two-time Oscar winner Robert De Niro and four-time Tony Award winner Jerry Zaks, with choreography by Tony nominee Sergio Trujillo. A Bronx Tale: The Musical features a book by Chazz Palminteri, music by Alan Menken and lyrics byGlenn Slater.

While both RAIN FOLLOWS THE PLOW and ROMANOV both musicalize moments in history and showcase some serious songwriting skills and musicianship, they couldn't be more different from one another stylistically. While there is considerable room for both shows to grow, a future life for both of them is definitely possible due to the strong central concepts, creativity and musical bases.
