Imagine older actors in their 70s and 80s, actors who have spent their lives being other people, bringing life to other people's words. Imagine they were on stage with nothing but themselves and no words but their own. No script, no map, a different show every night, all they have is a lifetime of theatre to help them find their way.

Paul Blake, Sony/ATV Music Publishing and Mike Bosner in association with Michael Harrison announce that Bronte Barbe will play 'Carole King' in the UK and Ireland tour of the Olivier, Tony and Grammy award-winning BEAUTIFUL - THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL. Bronte will be joined by Kane Oliver Parry as King's husband and song-writing partner 'Gerry Goffin', Amy Ellen Richardson as song-writer 'Cynthia Weil', Matthew Gonsalves as song-writer 'Barry Mann', Carol Royle as King's mother 'Genie Klein' and Adam Howden as music publisher and producer 'Donnie Kirshner'. At certain performances, 'Carole King' will be played by Leigh Lothian. BEAUTIFUL - THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL opens at the Bradford Alhambra on Saturday 9 September 2017. Tour dates below.

Judging by the sheer amount of talent exhibited by the graduating classes of 2021, 2020, 2019, and 2018 on stage, there could very well be an artistic explosion coming our way in the dance world. Talent. Is it a God given? Is it something studied? Or taught? I suppose we could discuss these for ages, but one thing is clear: the abundance of talent in the dance world is beyond comprehension. You can criticize the choreography, but the dancers themselves-no. How do you put all this into words? Maybe, WOW!! I know that it's not high toned, but what the hell else do you say?
