MCC Theater has just announced the the New York premiere of John Pollono's Lost Girls. Golden Globe nominated star of stage and screen, Piper Perabo-who recently completed five seasons of the USA's popular drama series 'Covert Affairs' for which she received a Golden Globe Award nomination, and was last seen onstage in the Broadway and MCC Theater productions of Neil LaBute's Reasons to be Pretty-stars alongside Ebon Moss-Bachrach (HBO's 'Girls'), Meghann Fahy (Next to Normal),Tasha Lawrence (Good People, The Whale), and newcomers Lizzy DeClement and Josh Green.

Second Stage Theatre (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director, Casey Reitz, Executive Director) has announced that Tony Award winner Reed Birney (The Humans) will star in the leading role of Ken Carpenter in the upcoming New York premiere production of Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winner Tracy Lett's 2003 play, MAN FROM NEBRASKA, directed by David Cromer. Mr. Birney has previously appeared in three Second Stage productions - The Family of Mann, Loose Knit, and Winterplay.

MCC THEATER announced today the extension-by popular demand-of its hit comedy, Matthew Lopez's The Legend of Georgia McBride, now playing at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street).  The play, which officially opened on September 9th, will now play through October 11th.  It was previously scheduled through October 4th.  For more information on MCC Theater, please visit www.mcctheater.org.

The talk will be conducted by Pulitzer-Prize Nominee, Jon Robin Baitz, while the reading will feature Reed Birney and Betty Gilpin. Both of whom will reprise their roles from the Atlantic Theater Company premiere.

Producer Stuart Thompson announced today that John Guare's critically acclaimed play Six Degrees of Separation will return to Broadway this spring in a revival starring seven-time Emmy Award winner Allison Janney ('Mom,' The Girl on the Train) as Ouisa and Tony Award winner John Benjamin Hickey (The Normal Heart, 'Manhattan') as Flan. Trip Cullman (Significant Other, Punk Rock) will direct the production, which is set to open at the Barrymore Theatre in April 2017 and will run for 15 weeks only.

Unicorn Theatre, under the artistic leadership of Producing Artistic Director Cynthia Levin, announces the 43rd season of thought-provoking new plays. The new season will open September 7, 2016 and include eight regular season shows. Subscriptions for the new season are on sale now. In addition to a full line up of new productions to Kansas City, the Unicorn will also continue the In-Progress New Play Reading Series, bringing scripts in development and under consideration for production in upcoming seasons before the public.
