A Christmas Story, The Musical arrives on Broadway at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre just in time for the 2012 holiday season. The new musical, based on the 1983 movie perennial, the musical begins performances November 7 at 7PM. The eight-week limited engagement runs through December 30. Opening night is Monday, November 19.

Joining Bolton will be Tony Award nominee Erin Dilly (Nice Work if You Can Get It, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang) as Mother, Zac Ballard (Oliver! at Irish Repertory Theatre) as little brother Randy, Caroline O'Connor (Chicago, Moulin Rouge) as school teacher Miss Shields, and Eddie Korbich (The Little Mermaid, The Drowsy Chaperone, Wicked) as Santa Claus. Broadway's A Christmas Story, The Musical has found its Ralphie. Following a nationwide search, producers of the musical have announced that Johnny Rabe will don Ralphie's trademark spectacles for the holiday engagement at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. Rabe will make his Broadway debut in the role.

Last seen on Broadway in the title role of Lombardi, Lauria is best known to television audiences around the country for portraying fathers, including dad Jack Arnold in the long running series 'The Wonder Years,' and his current role as dad Jack Sullivan on the TBS comedy 'Sullivan & Son." As A Christmas Story, The Musical! prepares for a Broadway engagement this holiday season, the show's producers have announced that they will begin their search for young actors. An open audition for children between the ages of 8-13 will be held on Saturday June 16, 2012 at Pearl Studios (500 8th Avenue, 12th floor). Registration begins at 11:30AM with auditions from 12:00-5:00PM.
