Tom Dugan's WIESENTHAL Begins Performances Tonight at Theatre Row

Tony Award winner Daryl Roth (Kinky Boots, The Normal Heart) and Karyl Lynn Burns (The Best is Yet to Come) present the New York premiere of Wiesenthal, the award-winning play written by and starring Tom Dugan and directed by Jenny Sullivan. Wiesenthal launches a limited 14-week engagement, from tonight, October 24 through February 1, at the Acorn Theatre at Theatre Row, (410 W. 42nd Street). Opening night is November 5.

Bahu-Beti-Biwi (Daughter-in-Law, Daughter, Wife), choreographed, written and directed by Gandhi, is a powerful work at the intersection of traditional Indian and contemporary Western cultures. The 50-minute performance mines Gandhi's own life in a commentary on the traditional roles of Indian women.

Ford's Theatre Society announced that a donation drive during performances of 'A Christmas Carol' has raised $77,413.42 for the local charity Covenant House Washington. Donations were collected November 21-December 23, 2013. In addition to the curtain call collection, patrons also were encouraged to make donations through the Ford's Theatre Box Office, and members of the Ford's Theatre Society staff donated money to the campaign.

Producers Daryl Roth and Eva Price announced today that Sebastian Arcelus, Fred Dalton Thompson (in his Broadway debut), and John Douglas Thompson will star in the new Broadway courtroom drama A Time to Kill, Tony Award-winning playwright Rupert Holmes' stage adaptation of John Grisham's best-selling novel. This new Broadway play holds the distinction of being the first-ever John Grisham property to be adapted for the stage. A Time to Kill is set to open on Broadway on October 20, 2013 at the John Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street). Previews begin September 28th. Ethan McSweeny will direct.
