Second Stage Theatre (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director) has announced a world premiere play along with a New York premiere new musical which will be presented as part of the company's eleventh annual Second Stage Theatre Uptown Series this summer: Erica Lipez's The Tutors, directed by Thomas Kail and Murder For Two with Book and Music by Joe Kinosian and Book and Lyrics by Kellen Blair.
Primary Stages continues their 28th season with the 20th anniversary revival of All in The Timing by David Ives. Directed by Tony Award-winner John Rando (Urinetown; A Christmas Story, The Musical), the production features Eric Clem (Blue Man Group), Carson Elrod (Peter and the Starcatcher), Jenn Harris (Silence! Primary Stages Einhorn School of Performing Arts (ESPA), the company's professional training school, has announced its Fall 2012 schedule of classes now open for enrollment. ESPA will offer new classes including Comedy Writing, Advanced Libretto and Lyric Writing and Dialects 2: Russian. ESPA will also be offering two new workshops: Writing for TV: Making the Transition from Stage to Screen and The Pilot.
