The production can be played simply on a set which cleverly takes the audience from the windswept marshes to gloomy mansion, bustling London and even a boat collision on the Thames. Gripping drama, delightful humor and a true Dickensian flavor all the while. A terrific way to introduce audiences of all ages to one of the great works of literature. Nicolet High School just outside of Milwaukee, Wisconsin had a very special performance of MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM over the weekend. While the show itself was extraordinary, as extraordinary is the school's theater director, Mr. Ken Miller. Mr. Miller marked his final production at Nicolet High School. After 32 years as an example of hard work and dedication to the drama program, Mr. Miller will retire. Students gathered from years gone by to be a part of the final show and honor this man. Many great things were said about him.

The schedule for this summer's Lincoln Center Out of Doors festival, which runs from July 20 to August 10, was announced today by Bill Bragin, Lincoln Center's Director of Public Programming. The Film Society of Lincoln Center announced today An Evening with Alfonso Cuarón, on Thursday, February 13. The stage premiere of Shakespeare in Love will open at London's Noel Coward Theatre in the summer of 2014. This new play will be adapted for the stage by Lee Hall from the screenplay by Marc Norman and Tom Stoppard. Declan Donnellan will direct and the production will be designed by Nick Ormerod. Shakespeare in Love will be produced by Disney Theatrical Productions and Sonia Friedman Productions.
