Following a successful summer run of Aaron Posner's play Life Sucks, Company of Fools' 22nd season of theatre continues this fall with a production of BRIGHT HALF LIFE by playwright Tanya Barfield. Company of Fools' Interim Artistic Director, Ilana Becker, will direct the play, which runs Sept. 27-Oct. 14, 2017, at the Liberty Theatre in Hailey.

59E59 Theaters welcomes 59E59 favorites Peter & Will Anderson with SONGBOOK SUMMIT, featuring the music of Cole Porter, Harold Arlen, George Gershwin and Richard Rodgers. Produced by Reardon-Anderson Music and featuring jazz vocalist Molly Ryan, SONGBOOK SUMMIT begins performances tonight, August 2, for a limited engagement through Sunday, August 27.

The Old Globe today announced the complete cast and creative team of Skeleton Crew by Dominique Morisseau. The Globe is the first regional theatre in the country to mount the play, which was presented here as a reading in the 2014 Powers New Voices Festival before an acclaimed Off Broadway run. San Diego director Delicia Turner Sonnenberg makes her Globe debut to helm the award-winning drama, which is presented in association with San Diego's MOXIE Theatre, where Turner Sonnenberg is Founding Artistic Director.

When Jack, a New York banker, suddenly shows up at his parents' Cincinnati home in the middle of the night with a sack full of ice cream and no wife, his sister Lorna wants to know what's going on. Where's his socialite wife? Is he home for good? And why is he giving away so much money? Theresa Rebeck's (Bad Dates, Dragon 2011) dark comedy examines the conflict between Main Street and Wall Street, flyover state values versus coastal state values, and the humor within a family in turmoil.

Prospect Theater Company (Melissa Huber, Managing Director / Cara Reichel, Producing Artistic Director) is pleased to announce casting for its final 2016 IGNITE Series event on Friday, December 16th at 8pm at the TimesCenter (242 West 41st Street).  The evening will feature a a special concert presentation of the musical Striking 12, with book, music, and lyrics by Brendan Milburn, Rachel Sheinkin and Val Vigoda.

December at Blue Note Hawaii, the state's premier venue for the world's most celebrated artists, promises to be one of the most musically-diverse months yet. The club kicks off with two nights of the island's hottest reggae acts with Revive the Live Waikiki Edition, followed by tributes to Billie Holiday and Duke Ellington, singer-songwriter Imua Garza and a nostalgic run with Henry Kapono as he presents the Songs of C&K. Acoustic rock and reggae artist Trevor Hall, the legendary Willie K and soulful guitarist Tavana take us into the middle of the month, leading up to GRAMMY(R) Award-winning trumpeter Herb Alpert.
