Today we are talking to a terrifically talented triple-threat who made a major mark on Broadway with her star turns in GYPSY and WICKED before appearing this season in the brand new Shakespeare-themed musical comedy SOMETHING ROTTEN!, the effortlessly cute and convivial Kate Reinders. Discussing her hilarious role in the fresh Broadway musical, Reinders praises her starry assortment of co-stars - including Brian D'Arcy James, Christian Borle and John Cariani - in addition to analyzing all the details about putting a brand new musical on its feet directly before the eyes of Broadway. Randy James' all male dance company, 10 Hairy Legs, returns to Crossroads Theatre, New Brunswick for its third consecutive appearance on Sunday, March 29 at 3:00 pm. Continuing to showcase the company's expanded repertory that explores the range of the male dancer, the performance will be followed by a Panel Discussion on the stage with Artistic Director Randy James, New Jersey choreographer Cleo Mack and Company Member Kyle Marshall. Oregon Ballet Theatre announced during Pink Martini's concert at the Oregon Zoo that Nicolo Fonte's world premiere in the upcoming OBT 25 program will feature Portland's favorite 'little orchestra' sharing the stage with the dancers in the first ever full-scale collaboration between the two groups. The ballet, titled Everywhere, was inspired by Fonte's eagerness to create an unforgettable experience for the audience that will reveal new facets of both groups and the performers in them. In celebration of the Ballet's 25th Anniversary Season, this entirely new creation will feature China Forbes, who has been the lead singer for the band since its inception. Opening today, October 11, 2014 at the Keller Auditorium, OBT 25 will continue for five performances through October 18.
