Maine State Music Theatre (MSMT) in Brunswick and Portland Stage (PS) in Portland, Maine announce a second partnership and artistic collaboration that will continue to broaden the connection between the two communities and deepen the program offerings for both theatres' audiences.

GYPSY has announced its cast and creative team at the Lyric Stage Company of Boston.

Talented musicians sizzle on the performance stage at Dino's Backstage and the Celebrity Room in July. July's entertainment lineup begins with two performances by Michelle Lordi on July 7 and 8, followed by the talented cabaret singer and jazz vocalist Paula Johns on July 14. Then, on July 15, pianist/singer Jared Feinman will perform showing off his strong baritone voice.

The American Theatre Wing's 71st Annual Tony Awards, hosted by Tony and Academy Award-winning actor Kevin Spacey, aired live from Radio City Music Hall last night, honoring theatre professionals for distinguished achievement on Broadway and wrapping up the 2016-17 awards season.

“The All Night Strut has a songbook to die for! It may not be as riotously funny as The Irish and How They Got Way was,” says Maine State Music Theatre's Artistic Director Curt Dale Clark, but I know from experience that the audience will leave the theatre exhilarated!” Clark, who will co-produce the show with Anita Stewart, Artistic Director of Portland Stage, describes the musical revue as “a collection of vignettes, each of which plays out before the next one begins. It is sort of like an evening of short stories that paints a colorful and poignant picture of 20th century America in the years of the Great Depression, World War II, and the post-war.”

A love triangle for the ages meets a new adaptation for today in Lerner & Loewe's CAMELOT at Lyric Stage.

April showers bring May flowers, but Dino's Backstage and The Celebrity Room brings outstanding entertainment to the stage all month long in May! First, Michael Richard Kelly honors pays tribute to an icon with "Songs of Judy Garland" on May 5 and 6.

Manhattan Theatre Club's new Broadway production of Lillian Hellman's The Little Foxes, directed by Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan, opened just last night, Wednesday, April 19, at MTC's Samuel J. This month's performances (in order of appearance) include Jonathan Karrant, Courtney Day, Paula Johns "Happy Birthday Ella", Bob Egan (for his Singer's Showcase), Michael Richard Kelly with a special birthday celebration weekend for Dino Kelly-Cataldi and, the last weekend in April features Jeffrey Coon. Dino's Backstage and The Celebrity Room - the unique dining and entertainment experience reminiscent of the sophisticated supper clubs of the 40s and 50s - is located at 287 Keswick Avenue in Glenside, PA.

'At the end of last summer I told myself that we were not going to try to top the 2016 season. I was going to think of 2017 as a completely separate and unique adventure, but the end result is that we are already topping our previous metrics in terms of ticket sales.' Lee Rocker made his mark singing, playing, standing on, spinning and rocking his giant upright bass in the legendary music group The Stray Cats. The Grammy-nominee brings his unique sound to the State Theatre for a solo show on Friday, February 3rd.
