Spike TV's GUYS CHOICE To Induct GOODFELLAS Into The Guy Movie Hall Of Fame 6/20

Spike TV will induct quintessential mob classic and iconic movie 'GoodFellas' into the Guy Movie Hall of Fame during the fourth annual 'Guys Choice,' taping Saturday, June 5 at the Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, CA. Film stars Robert De Niro and Ray Liotta will reunite on stage to be honored, celebrating the 1990 cinematic masterpiece. This appearance at 'Guys Choice' marks the first time the Hollywood heavyweights will come together to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the six time Academy Award-nominated 'GoodFellas.' The award will be presented by Emmy and Golden Globe winner James Gandolfini. 'Guys Choice' will premieres Sunday, June 20th At 10 PM, ET/PT.

Writers' Theatre Artistic Director Michael Halberstam and Executive Director Kathryn M. Lipuma announce the second extension of Oh Coward!, words and music by Noel Coward, devised by Roderick Cook. The production, which began its run in November 2009 is directed by Jim Corti, with musical direction by Doug Peck. The production has been extended through April 18, 2010, at Writers' Theatre, 664 Vernon Avenue in Glencoe.

Matthew White's production of Sweet Charity, which completed its sell-out run at the Menier Chocolate Factory last month, will open at the Theatre Royal Haymarket on 23 April 2010 with press night on 4 May and is currently booking until 8 January 2011.

Casting has been announced for Polar Bears; David Leveaux has been pronounced director of Simon Gray's The Late Middle Class; von Kleist's The Prince of Homburg has been added to the season; new events in celebration of Sondheim's 80th birthday - in addition to the production of Passion - have been revealed; and Michael Grandage has been confirmed to direct Derek Jacobi in King Lear.

The New York Philharmonic will present SONDHEIM: The Birthday Concert on March 15 and Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at 7:30 p.m. This celebration of the 80th birthday of the great Broadway and film composer/lyricist will include his most enduring orchestral music and songs - performed, in some cases, by the stars of the original Broadway cast productions - in addition to rarely-heard material. Joining the celebration will be (in alphabetical order) Michael Cerveris, Victoria Clark, Jason Danieley, Nathan Gunn, George Hearn, Patti LuPone, Marin Mazzie, Audra McDonald, Donna Murphy, Mandy Patinkin, Bernadette Peters, and others to be announced, including surprise guests. Paul Gemignani, Mr. Sondheim's longtime collaborator, will conduct the New York Philharmonic; Lonny Price is the director; and Mr. Price and Matt Cowart are the producers.
