Wonderbound Presents ENDURING GRACE With the Colorado Symphony, 10/18-26

Denver's Wonderbound is gaining national attention this October as Artistic Director Garrett Ammon's "Serenade for Strings" premieres with San Francisco's Smuin Ballet. In addition, the work will be a part of Wonderbound's season opening production of "Enduring Grace" with musicians of the Colorado Symphony. "Enduring Grace" also features a world premiere work by Company Artist Sarah Tallman.

Bacon Brothers to Open St. Regis Big Stars, Bright Nights Concerts, Today

Sizzle. Sizzle. Sizzle. The Bacon Brothers cut loose as they kick off the St. Regis Big Stars, Bright Nights summer series on June 28. The band's charismatic front men - actor Kevin (The Following, Apollo 13, Mystic River, Footloose...) and Emmy award-winning composer Michael - put on a show that seamlessly blends hard-charging tunes with mellow, country-folk ballads. Concert starts at 7 p.m. (gates open at 5:30 p.m.) at Deer Valley Resort's Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater. Lawn tickets are available (reserved seating is sold out).

Theatre Communications Group (TCG) just announced the publication of 100 (monologues) by Eric Bogosian. The book is a collection of Bogosian's acclaimed monologues, which were originally performed as part of his six Off-Broadway solo shows that premiered between 1980 and 2000. PROFILE THEATRE has announced, through generous contributions of theatre education supporters, a new fund has been named in honor of Founding Artistic Director Jane Unger. The Jane Unger Hands on Theatre Fund will support Profile's theatre education programs in local schools, an effort highlighted by the Hands On Theatre Program created by Ms. Unger.

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts will host 22 theatrical offerings from 20 different countries during WORLD STAGES: International Theater Festival 2014 that will run for three weeks March 10-30, 2014 throughout the Center. The international festival features contemporary theater works offering 13 fully staged productions, 4 theater-focused installations, 3 readings of new works, and 2 forums. From Olivier and Tony Award-winning puppetry to innovative perspectives on old classics, a diverse showcase of theatrical expression will be represented by countries spanning the globe including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, England, France, Iceland, Iraq, Israel, Japan, Kuwait, Mexico, Pakistan, Palestine, Scotland, South Africa, Sudan, Syria, and the United States.

The world premiere production of the brand new musical comedy Bullets Over Broadway, written byWoody Allen and based on the screenplay by Allen and Douglas McGrath for the 1994 film, will begin preview performances on Tuesday, March 11 and officially open Thursday, April 10, 2014 at The St. James Theatre (246 West 44th Street). The new musical will be directed and choreographed by five-time Tony Award winner Susan Stroman. The company met the press last week and you can check out photos from inside rehearsal below!
