Ralph Lee's Mettawee River Theater Company will continue performing their outdoor show BEYOND THE HIGH VALLEY on September 18, 19, 20 at 7:30 PM. All performances will be at the Outdoor Garden of St. John the Divine, 111th St. and Amsterdam Avenue.

The Colony Theatre Company presents the first production of its historic 35th anniversary season, the musical sensation, 2 PIANOS 4 HANDS, written by Ted Dykstra and Richard Greenblatt and directed by Tom Frey. 2 PIANOS 4 HANDS will preview on Wednesday, June 17; Thursday, June 18 and Friday, June 19 at 8:00pm and will open on Saturday, June 20 at 8:00pm and continue through Sunday, July 26 at The Colony Theatre, 555 North Third Street (at Cypress) adjacent to the Burbank Town Center.
The June 15th benefit concert staging of Jekyll & Hyde at New York Society for Ethical Culture will feature two songs not heard in the show's initial Broadway bow. Bring on the Men, which was replaced by Good and Evil for the show's 1500+ performance run at the Plymouth Theater, was re-inserted into the show following the original Broadway production. Girls of the Night, which was cut out of town, is being included by special permission from the authors.

The Music Center of Los Angeles County announces the sixth season of the Dance at the Music Center series. The season opens with the return of Miami City Ballet led by Artistic Director Edward Villella, performing the much anticipated, West Coast premiere of NIGHTSPOT a Twyla Tharp and Elvis Costello collaboration, October 24-26. On February 13, New York's historic Town Hall will be the setting for an extraordinary salute to the endurance and influence of Woodie King, Jr.'s New Federal Theatre (NFT), for 35 years a seminal force in the Black Arts Movement (BAM) co-hosted by Ossie Davis and Lynn Whitfield. In addition to celebrating the NFT's vital contribution to the arts internationally, the gala will feature a special 'roast and toast' to Negro Ensemble Company co-founder award winning actor/director/writer, Douglas Turner Ward and an awards presentation honoring significant contributors to the development of the theatre.
