'A Strange and Separate People' by Jon Marans announces casting of Jonathan Hammond, Tricia Paoluccio and Noah Weisberg. The Off Broadway play is presented byStacy Shane / ManUnderdog Prods., the original producer of Marans' critically acclaimed, award-winning play from a season ago, The Temperamentals, at Theatre Row Studio Theatre, 410 West 42nd Street, beginning July 14th and Opening Tuesday, July 19th. It is directed by Jeff Calhoun, with set and costume design by Clint Ramos; lighting by Ryan O'Gara and sound by Jill BC Du Boff.

The League of Professional Theatre Women (LPTW), a non-profit organization committed to promoting visibility and increasing opportunities for women in the professional theatre, is pleased to recognize the talents of two outstanding women: the LPTW Lucille Lortel Award and accompanying grant will be presented to Jessica Burr, Artistic Director of Blessed Unrest; and the Ruth Morley Design Award will be given to Tony Award-winning scenic designer Christine Jones. These awards will be presented at the League's 2011 Awards Luncheon, to be held from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 9 at Sardi's Restaurant.

Lead producer Michael Cohl announced today that SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark will begin preview performances on Broadway on Sunday, November 14, 2010, at 3 p.m., with Opening Night set for Tuesday evening, December 21. Directed by Julie Taymor and featuring a book by Julie Taymor and Glen Berger, and new music and lyrics by Bono and The Edge, SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark will open at Broadway's Foxwoods Theatre (213 West 42nd Street).
