You think you're having a bad day? Meet Sam. He works the red-hot reservation line at one of New York's trendiest restaurants, where the best food inspires the worst behavior. Coercion, petty threats, bribes, histrionics-a cast of desperate callers, all brought to life by Ferguson, will stop at nothing to land a prime reservation, or the right table in Becky Mode's hilarious and delicious comedy. Amid the barrage, Sam has his own problems to deal with. While juggling scheming socialites, name-dropping wannabes, fickle celebrities and egomaniacal bosses, can he still manage to look out for himself?

He has worked on several world premiere and American operas at both companies, including Minnesota Opera's The Dream of Valentino, The Manchurian Candidate and The Shining.

ALS.net announced today that its 14th annual Tri-State Trek charity cycling event will take place between Today, June 24 and Sunday, June 26. The Tri-State Trek is a three-day, 270-mile bicycle ride from Boston, MA to Greenwich, CT with all proceeds benefiting ALS.net and the research it funds directly at the ALS Therapy Development Institute in Cambridge, MA. JAW 2016 Playwrights Announced; Free Public Readings to be Held in July

?Three scripts have been selected from more than 175 submissions to be featured in Portland Center Stage's 18th annual festival for new work development, JAW: A Playwrights Festival. Playwright Kevin Artigue will develop The Forcings, a magic realism-infused play that stares unflinchingly at a family in crisis and a civilization barreling toward extinction; Mia Chung will develop Catch as Catch Can, a story exploring the shifting roles we play in the presence of family; and Nathan Dame will develop The Saints, a funny and poignant journey of a young woman making her way back to hope. To add to the excitement of this year's JAW festivities, PCS will also workshop two of the world premiere productions that are slated for its 2016-2017 season: Wild and Reckless, a new musical event from Blitzen Trapper; and Lauren Weedman Doesn't Live Here Anymore by Lauren Weedman (The People's Republic of Portland, 2013 and 2015).
