Casting has been announced for the Orlando return engagement of Disney's THE LION KING. Orlando's eagerly awaited stage production will leap onto the Bob Carr stage from April 17 to May 13. The press opening night is Thursday, April 19 at 8 p.m. The show's six-week premiere engagement in 2006 played a sold-out run at the Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre.

Public Theater has announced the line-up today for The Public's 2012-2013 Season, beginning in the fall with an October rededication of The Public's historic downtown building. LION KING Opens in New Orleans at the Mahalia Jackson Theater, March 16

The New Orleans premiere of Disney's THE LION KING opens tonight, Friday, March 16 at 8 p.m. at the Mahalia Jackson Theater for a limited engagement of five weeks through Sunday, April 15. In New Orleans, THE LION KING plays Tuesday through Saturday evenings at 8 p.m., Sunday evenings at 6:30 p.m. and matinees on Saturdays at 2 p.m. and Sundays at 1 p.m., with an additional performance on Thursday, April 12 at 2 p.m.
