Real-life married couple James Pickering and Tami Workentin star in LOVE STORIES under the direction of Paula Suozzi. Rubicon Theatre celebrates the holidays with the company's first presentation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, a World Premiere adaptation written by Producing Artistic Director Karyl Lynn Burns and directed by Brian McDonald. Rubicon's A Christmas Carol features a 24-member cast (the largest ensemble since the company's production of Fiddler on the Roof and the largest ever for a play).

The awards will be presented at a ceremony on Friday, May 20, at 6:30pm, at the Edison Ballroom (240 West 47th Street).  Ms. Tsu was selected to receive the 2016 TDF/Irene Sharaff Lifetime Achievement Award for costume design and Mr. Yeargan will receive the Robert L.B. Tobin Award for Sustained Excellence in Theatrical Design. The awards are presented through Theatre Development Fund's Costume Collection.

Shaw also explored class interactions and inspired audiences to laugh at the absurdities inherent within them. BroadwayWorld is saddened to report that Myra Carter, winner of the 1994 Drama Desk, Obie, Outer Critics Circle, and Lucille Lortel Awards for her acclaimed performance in Edward Albee's THREE TALL WOMEN, passed away on Saturday, January 9th, at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York. Myra was a long time resident of New York City's West Village. She was 86 years old.

The Irish Repertory Theatre, which 'encourages the development of works focusing on the Irish and Irish-American experience, and produces works of other cultures interpreted through the lens of an Irish sensibility,' continues the 10th season of the Irish Rep Reading Series.  A staged reading of Jimmy Kerr's play House Strictly Private will be held on Friday, February 26 at 3pm EST at the DR2 Theater, 103 East 15th Street (the Irish Repertory Theatre's temporary home during current renovations).  The Irish Rep's literary manager, Kara Manning, will direct the reading.
