Teatro La Tea and Clout in the Mug Productions are proud to present Dolores and North of Providence, two searing one-act plays by Edward Allan Baker . The production opens on January 26, 2011 and will run through February 12, 2011. Performances will be held at Teatro La Tea, 107 Suffolk Street in New York City. Alfred Uhry's Pulitzer Prize-winning play (later adapted into an Oscar-winning film) is a timeless, searing, funny, and ultimately hopeful meditation on race relations in America, told through the complex relationship between Daisy Werthan (Redgrave) and her driver Hoke Colburn (Jones), two of popular culture's most enduring characters.

Joseph V. Melillo, executive producer of the Brooklyn Academy of Music, today announced programming for the BAM 2011 Spring Season, which runs from Jan 7 through Jun 11, 2011.
