Grammy nominated pianist David Lanz is a contemporary instrumental recording and concert artist whose deeply-felt compositions helped forge the New Age music movement over the past twenty years. Lanz started his performing career in his early teens playing keyboards with rock band The Towne Cryers during the early Seattle music scene. Lanz honed his skills working with an eclectic array of groups and recording projects, including playing keyboards on Terry Jack's 1974 world wide smash hit 'Seasons in the Sun' and an album for Mercury Records with Canadian super-group BRAHMAN in 1971.

Celebrated actress and two-time Tony Award-winner Frances Sternhagen will be joining the confluence of artists and audiences for Florida Stage's 5th Annual 1st Stage New Works Festival. Ms. Sternhagen will be featured in a staged reading of legendary playwright Israel Horovitz' new play Beverley on Saturday, February 5, 2011. On Friday, February 4, in place of the Festival's usual Keynote speech, Ms. Sternhagen will take part in what is being called 'A Conversation with Frances Sternhagen.' Florida Stage Producing Director Louis Tyrrell will conduct a public interview with Sternhagen on stage in the Persson Hall at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts. The Florida Stage 1st Stage New Works Festival takes place February 3-6, 2011. The New York revival played for 861 performances at the Forty-Sixth Street Theatre in 1971. The cast for the revival included Ruby Keeler, Jack Gilford, Bobby Van, Helen Gallagher, Susan Watson and Patsy Kelly.

New York City Center's seventh annual Fall for Dance Festival, running September 28 - October 9, will showcase 20 national and international companies and choreographers.
