Sands, Esq., Law '84, an important philanthropist and business entrepreneur in upstate New York who is President and Chief Executive Officer, Constellation Brands, Inc., the world's largest premium wine company; and F. Daniel Gabel, a significant early supporter of environmental organizations who is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Hagedorn & Company, a major insurance brokerage firm.

There is so much energy, enthusiasm and heart found in Street Theatre Company's Hairspray that it's certain to keep your spirits buoyed for a long time after leaving the theater. Brought to the stage by a competent creative team and a huge cast of committed performers, the Scott Wittman-Marc Shaiman musical - featuring a book by Mark O'Donnell and Thomas Meehan based on John Waters' wholly original film - Hairspray is great big fun, featuring some lovable characters and one of the most infectious musical theatre scores around.

William Roesch Named Associate Artist of The Old Globe

Old Globe Executive Producer Lou Spisto named William Roesch an Associate Artist of The Old Globe at a ceremony held on May 24. He is the 53rd artist to receive the prestigious honor which recognizes his unique contribution to the institution. Roesch both directed and acted at the Globe for more than 20 years and served as Associate Artistic Director from 1962 to 1969.
