The public is invited to attend the opening reception for Plymouth Arts Center's new exhibition, a?oeWear 'Fore' Arta?? on Friday, March 20, 2020 from 4:30pm to 7:30pm. a?oeWear 'Fore' Arta?? is a collection of artistic wearable items designed with inspiration from nature, constructed of natural materials, created by 12 Wisconsin artists. Bring your friends to view, enjoy, and purchase one-of-a-kind wearable art including garments, jackets, scarves, bags and jewelry. The show will be on display in Gallery 110 North through May 1st.  The exhibition is generously sponsored by Conrad and Barbara Barrows and Franz Backus.

The concert will take place at the Elebash Recital Hall at the Cuny Graduate Center located at 365 Fifth Avenue in New York City. The concert is free and open to the public.

Quartet 131 will be featured on the Arion Chamber Music Series on Friday February 21, 2020, from 8:00 - 9:30 PM. The concert will take place at Christ & St. Stephen's Church located at 120 W. 69th St., NYC. Tickets are $30. Students under 25 with ID are $15 at the door. Transport Group has announced casting for The Unsinkable Molly Brown, its second mainstage production of the 2019-20 season. Joining Tony Award nominee Beth Malone (Fun Home) who will play Molly Brown are David Aron Damane (The Book of Mormon, Big River, The Life) as JJ, Whitney Bashor (The Bridges of Madison County) as Julia, Omar Lopez-Cepero (On Your Feet!) as Vincenzo, Alex Gibson (SpongeBob SquarePants; Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812) as Erich, and Paolo Montalban (Pacific Overtures, The King and I) as Arthur. Rounding out the cast are Kaitlyn Davidson; Tyrone Davis, Jr.; Gregg Goodbrod; Michael Halling; Karl Josef Co; Nikka Graff Lanzarone; Kate Marilley; Shina Ann Morris; Keven Quillon; and CoCo Smith.

Dogfight, currently playing at The Eagle Theatre in Hammonton, NJ is a contemporary musical with book by Peter Duncan, and music and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. Dogfight is based on Nancy Savoca's 1991 film starring River Phoenix and Lili Taylor.

The world premiere of the original rock musical, Love in Hate Nation is thrilling its audiences at Two River Theater.

BroadwayWorld recently caught up with Bay Area theater mainstay Dan Hiatt while he was in the midst of rehearsals for TheatreWorks Silicon Valley's new musical a?oeMark Twain's River of Songa?? in which he plays the title role.  Mr. Hiatt discussed his process for finding the character of Twain, and also shared some insights from his remarkably rich career, having worked with most every high-profile theater company in the Bay Area over the past 25 years.

Today, producers Eden Espinosa, Bridget Elise Yingling, Scott Prisand, Doug Feurring and Jana Shea announced a one-night-only 15th Anniversary reunion concert of BKLYN: The Musical featuring Original Broadway stars Drama League nominee Eden Espinosa (RENT, Wicked) as Brooklyn, Tony Award winner Karen Olivo (Moulin Rouge, In the Heights) as Faith, and stage star Ramona Keller (The Public Theatre's Hercules, City Center's Little Shop of Horrors) as Paradice. The concert, which benefits Covenant House Foundation (www.covenanthouse.org), will be presented on the 15th anniversary of the show's Broadway opening night, Monday, October 21 at 7:30 PM, at Brooklyn Steel (319 Frost Street, Brooklyn, NY 11222).
