Broadway will come to The Cape Playhouse this summer as Hunter Foster, Jen Cody, Nick Spangler, and Kaitlyn Davidson come to the theatre in a season of Playhouse premieres and Broadway favorites. Erik Orton, Guest Artistic Director, today announced the casting for the historic theater's 90th Season in Dennis, MA. Six shows - a mix of comedies, dramas, and musicals - will play from June 7 - August 30, 2016.

The 2016-2017 season will take a journey through love, death, time, foreign lands, freedom fights, and even back to 1956 Memphis, Tennessee. With musicals, comedy, drama, and a world premiere, GET will once again offer an entertaining, enlightening, and illuminating variety of theatre for our patrons throughout north Georgia and beyond. In addition to the mainstage subscription series, GET will produce a four-play Theatre for Young Audiences series, and a four concert Big Band series.

BSO to Partner with Andris Nelsons to Launch CLASSICAL LIVE on Google Play

The Boston Symphony Orchestra and Music Director Andris Nelsons have entered into a new partnership to create Classical Live, a unique initiative that offers a new paradigm for the distribution of live recordings of classical music available only on Google Play Music. Classical Live will offer participating orchestras—the BSO, Cleveland Orchestra, New York Philharmonic, London Symphony Orchestra, and Amsterdam's Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra—an opportunity to release up to four live concert recordings each season for download exclusively on Google Play Music with the first recordings to be made available at music.google.com or classical-live.com beginning on June 15.
