The Vaults today announces its new experience Sounds and Sorcery celebrating Disney Fantasia, a brand new immersive experience which will open this summer, in the year Mickey Mouse celebrates his 90th anniversary. The Jazz Ensembles of Mount Holyoke College present the 13th edition of The Big Broadcast! on Saturday, March 3 at 2PM & 7:30PM at Chapin Auditorium, Mount Holyoke College, in South Hadley, MA. Syracuse's Central New York Playhouse latest show is 1940's Radio Hour, written by Walton Jones and featuring various hit songs of the 1940s. Directed by Patricia Catchouny with musical direction by Abel Searor, 1940's Radio Hour transports us to December 1942 the final holiday broadcast of the Mutual Manhattan Variety Cavalcade on New York City radio station WOV.

Misty Copeland and Daniil Simkin will lead the opening night cast on December 7 dancing the roles of Clara, the Princess and Nutcracker, the Prince, respectively. Subsequent casts include Sarah Lane and Herman Cornejo, Gillian Murphy and James Whiteside, Stella Abrera and Alexandre Hammoudi, and Hee Seo and Cory Stearns in the leading roles.

With breathtaking dancing and exquisite sets, An American in Paris transported the enthusiastic audience at Albuquerque's Popejoy Hall to 1940's Paris. The show, choreographed and directed by Christopher Wheeldon (with several dance routines arranged by Sam Davis), seamlessly blends dance, singing, and plenty of heart and humor into a show that is entertaining for all ages. The musical, which is inspired by the 1951 Gene Kelley film of the same name, is a delightful nod to the original with a modern twist of the sets being projected onto the backdrop and various onset props, including strategically placed mirrors that reflected the scenery of Paris.
