Richard Eyre will direct John Mortimer's translation of Georges Feydeau's 1907 classic farce A FLEA IN HER EAR , opening for previews on 4 December 2010 (press night: 14 December). Starring Tom Hollander with Di Botcher, Jonathan Cake, Oliver Cotton, Lisa Dillon, Freddie Fox, Fiona Glascott, Lloyd Hutchinson, John Marquez, Tim McMullan, William Maxwell, Rebecca Night, Maggie Service and Walter Van Dyk, A Flea in Her Ear is a comedy of errors set against a backdrop of misunderstanding and confusion. A Flea in Her Ear is a co-production with Sonia Friedman Productions and is the second play in The Old Vic 2010-11 Season. The Season is sponsored by Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
The new Broadway production of George Bernard Shaw's play Mrs. Warren's Profession will star Tony Award winner Cherry Jones as 'Kitty Warren' & Golden Globe winner Sally Hawkins making her Broadway debut as 'Vivie Warren.' The production will be directed by Tony Award winner Doug Hughes at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway (227 West 42nd St). The cast will also feature Adam Driver as 'Frank Gardner', Mark Harelik as 'Sir George Crofts', Edward Hibbert as 'Mr. Praed' & Michael Siberry as 'Reverend Samuel Gardner'.

Exemplifying everything Japan Society has to offer, j-CATION fills the Society's theater, gallery, lounge and classrooms with an array of activities including how-to sessions, a wide selection of Japanese snacks and drinks, artistic and educational workshops, live music, a film screening, contests, and more. UC Berkeley's Department of Theater, Dance, and Performance Studies (TDPS) continues its 2008-09 Main Stage season with Georges Feydeau's Sauce for the Goose (Le Dindon), directed by Christopher Herold. The period production features scenic design by Giulio Perrone, costume design by Wendy Sparks, lighting design by David K.H. Elliott, and a cast of student actors from UC Berkeley. Sauce for the Goose will be performed in English (translation by Kenneth McLeish), with weekend performances from Friday, March 6 through Sunday, March 15 at the Zellerbach Playhouse on the UC Berkeley campus.
