BETRAYAL originally premiered at London's National Theatre in 1978 and was immediately hailed as one of Pinter's masterworks, winning the 1979 Olivier Award for Best New Play. Emma is married to Robert, a publisher, but she has long had an affair with Jerry, a literary agent and Robert's best friend; as, in a brilliant device, time is regained, so the full complexity of their relationships comes to light.

Individual Tickets to NJ Shakespeare Theatre on Sale April 22

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey announced that single tickets to its 2005 Main Stage and Outdoor Stage season will go on sale Friday, April 22 - the eve of the Bard's 441st birthday.

The Irish Arts Center (Pauline Turley, Executive Director), Georganne Aldrich Heller, Tom Kibbe, and Naked In The Wings present HOWIE THE ROOKIE written by Mark O'Rowe (writer of Intermission, the recently acclaimed film staring Colin Farrell and Colm Meaney,) opening May 12th at The Irish Arts Center (553 West 51st Street - between 10th and 11th Avenues). This production stars John O'Callaghan (We Were the Mulvaneys) and Mark Byrne (Gangs of New York) and is directed by Nancy Malone (Judging Amy, Dawson's Creek). HOWIE THE ROOKIE begins previews on May 5th. .
