Florida Stage opens its 24th season with the new mystery 'Cane,' written by Andrew Rosendorf. Cane represents the first in a collection of plays being commissioned by Florida Stage about issues central to the state of Florida (The Florida Cycle). The 2011 Center Theatre Group/Mark Taper Forum season was announced today by Center Theatre Group Artistic Director Michael Ritchie. Monte began performances on September 9, officially opens tonight, September 12 and continues through October 11 at the Shakespeare Theatre Main Stage - The F. M.
