STAGES St. Louis will welcome back to the stage, after unprecedented demand, Always... Patsy Cline, beginning April 22, 2014 to The Playhouse at Westport Plaza. Always... Patsy Cline was originally produced by STAGES during its record-breaking 27th Season, which resulted in two added performances and historic attendance. Nightly, the audiences stopped the show with thunderous applause for numbers like 'Crazy,' 'Lovesick Blues,' and 'Your Cheating Heart.'

The award-winning fringe venue Theatre503 has announced full casting for their SECOND LOOK production of Billy Roche's play A HAND FULL OF STARS. As previously announced Coronation Street actor and Boyzone star Keith Duffy (BIG MAGGIE, Druid Theatre Company) is to make his London stage debut as Stapler. Joining Keith will be actors Ciaran Owens (OH WHAT A LOVELY WAR at Stratford East and OUR COUNTRY'S GOOD for Out of Joint) as Jimmy, Michael O'Connor (ONCE, Phoenix Theatre) as Swan and Brian Fenton (THE CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN, Noel Coward Theatre) as Tony. Artistic Director Paul Robinson's production will run at Battersea's Theatre503 from Wednesday 30 April until Saturday 24 May 2014.

Cohen, lyrics by Academy Award-winner Dean Pitchford, music by Academy Award-winner Michael Gore, based on the novel by Stephen King, directed by Collective Member Christopher Pazdernik with music direction by Collective Member Aaron Benham. This unique resurrection of 1988's CARRIE: The Musical will play May 29 - July 12, 2014 at the Victory Gardens Richard Christiansen Theater, 2433 N. Lincoln Ave. in Chicago.

James Rebhorn passed away on Friday, March 21, at the age of 65. Rebhorn is most known for his role in the Showtime drama Homeland. His agent, Dianne Busch, told The Hollywood Reporter, "He died from melanoma, which had been diagnosed in 1992. He fought it all this time. He died Friday afternoon at his home in New Jersey, where he had been receiving hospice care for a week and a half."

Bailiwick Chicago Theater has just announced its 2013-14 Season, featuring two stunning musicals in their Chicago premieres. In March 2014, Artistic Director Lili-Anne Brown directs an intimate production of the stirring musical drama DESSA ROSE by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, the Tony Award-winning team behind Ragtime, Once on This Island and Seussical!, with music direction by Collective Member James Morehead. Immediately following in May 2014 comes a unique resurrection of the 1988 musical CARRIE with book by original screenwriter Lawrence D. Cohen, lyrics by Academy Award-winner Dean Pitchford, music by Academy Award-winner Michael Gore, directed by Collective Member Christopher Pazdernik with music direction by Collective Member Aaron Benham. The 2013-14 Season also marks Bailiwick Chicago's participation in Victory Gardens Theater's inaugural Resident Theater Program. Tickets for the 2013-14 Season will go on sale at a later date.

Jeremy Crutchley Stars in SACRED ELEPHANT at La MaMa, Now thru 9/22

From South Africa comes a stage adaptation of 'Sacred Elephant,' the epic poem by Heathcote Williams, performed by Jeremy Crutchley, a multi award-winning actor of stage and screen, and directed by Geoffrey Hyland. 'Sacred Elephant' is the first of four world-famous, influential poems Williams has written on environmental causes. It was followed by 'Whale Nation' (1988), 'Falling for a Dolphin' (1990) and 'Autogeddon' (1991). Sheer Nerve Productions, in association with BuyArt and Cockpit, will present the American premiere of the work tonight, September 4 to 22 as part of the Summer Shares at La MaMa, 74A East Fourth Street.

Tom Skerritt Completes A TIME TO KILL Broadway Cast

Producers Daryl Roth and Eva Price announced today that Emmy Award-winning actor Tom Skerritt will make his Broadway debut in A Time to Kill, Tony Award-winning playwright Rupert Holmes' stage adaptation of John Grisham's best-selling novel. Skerritt will portray Lucien Wilbanks, the mentor to protagonist Jake Brigance (played by Sebastian Arcelus), in this thrilling, iconic courtroom drama. Skerritt joins the previously announced Sebastian Arcelus, Chike Johnson, Patrick Page, Tony Award winner Tonya Pinkins, Fred Dalton Thompson, John Douglas Thompson, and Ashley Williams plus Dashiell Eaves, J.R. Horne, John Procaccino, Tijuana Ricks, and Lee Sellars. Casting is now complete.
