Richard Baird returns to San Diego to direct the largest Diversionary Theatre production to date - 15 fantastic actors playing numerous roles in an intense account of the struggle between passion and responsibility. SHN is delighted to announce the arrival of RICHARD III by William Shakespeare, featuring Kevin Spacey and directed by Sam Mendes, coming to San Francisco this Fall. The Curran Theatre is the only U.S venue, other than BAM in New York, to host this landmark event. Tickets for RICHARD III go on public sale Friday, August 19.

The full company is announced for the final season of The Bridge Project featuring Kevin Spacey, artistic director of The Old Vic, in the title role of Richard III. The Bridge Project will open at The Old Vic in London on June 29, 2011 and then embark on an international tour including the Athens & Epidaurus Festival, Spain's Centro Niemeyer, Hong Kong Arts Festival, and Singapore Repertory Theatre, arriving at BAM's Harvey Theater in New York in January 2012. Further international tour dates to be announced shortly.

This original chamber musical about family connections - which recalls the 'Forrest Gump' era - will be on stage Sept. 21-Oct. 17; Opening Night is on Friday, Sept. 24.

The crowns are swapped in Alan Bennett's The Madness of George III, also helmed by Noble, where Miles Anderson will play King George III and Foxworth will play Dr. Willis.
