Colin Quinn to Serve as Master of Ceremonies at 2015 Silver Hill Hospital Gala This Fall

On Monday, November 16, Silver Hill Hospital will hold its sixth annual fall Gala at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City. This year's Giving Hope Gala will honor renowned psychologist Marsha Linehan, Ph.D., and former patient and longtime Silver Hill Hospital supporter Jonny Podell. Comedian Colin Quinn will serve as the evening's Master of Ceremonies.

Broadway legend Joel Grey (CABARET, WICKED) and Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein (FINDING NEVERLAND) were honored last night at this year's Fred and Adele Astaire Awards. The gala evening CELEBRATED the 2015 season's outstanding dance and choreography on Broadway and film. Winners included Leanne Cope for Best Female Dancer, Robert Fairchild and Tony Yazbeck (tie) for Best Male Dancer and Christopher Wheeldon and Joshua Bergasse (tie) for Best Choreography.  BroadwayWorld brings you photos from the red carpet below!

UNC Presents World Premiere of New JOHNNY JOHNSON Musical, 11/20-24

The world premiere of the new edition of Johnny Johnson by Paul Green and Kurt Weill, with text and music not heard since 1937, will be staged at the University of North Carolina. Performances will take place in the Kenan Theatre, Center for Dramatic Art on Thursday, November 20th at 8pm, Friday, November 21st at 8pm (post-show discussion), Saturday, November 22nd at 8pm (pre-show symposium), Sunday, November 23rd at 2pm, and Monday, November 24th at 5pm.

Cyndi Lauper Performs at Silver Hill Hospital Gala Tonight

Tonight, November 20, 2013, Silver Hill Hospital will hold its fourth annual fall gala at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City. This year's Gala will honor longtime supporter and Board Director, Peter Busch Orthwein, and his wife, Beverly, and CNBC anchor, Lawrence Kudlow. In addition, there will be a special performance Cyndi Lauper.

French Heritage Society Supports Restoration Project at Fort Ticonderoga

Fort Ticonderoga has received a grant from the French Heritage Society to underwrite restoration work on the Fort's Soldiers' Barracks. The grant was given to Fort Ticonderoga, originally named Fort Carillon in 1755, because of its historic significance as a French heritage site. The project will replace 80 year old windows and sills on the third floor of the Soldiers' Barracks. Restoration work is currently underway with the windows expected to be installed by the spring of 2014.

The Museum will present 39 features. All of the films will be shown in 35mm-many in stunning restorations-except for Red Line 7000, which will be shown in 16mm.
