The University of Montana will offer Angels in America, Part One: Millennium Approaches, winner of the 1993 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. Angels in America runs in the Montana Theatre of the Performing Arts and Radio/Television Center on campus both before and after the Thanksgiving holiday: November 19-23 and December 3-7 at 7:30 pm. There will also be a matinee on World AIDS Day, December 1, at 3:00 pm with a special talkback following the performance.

Having staged revolutionary interpretations of 'Richard III' in 1996 and 'Romeo and Juliet' in 2009, he is now taking on 'Hamlet' with a new full-length work, 'Hamlet Hallucinations.' Davies rise to the upper echelon of blues music started at an early age as she absorbed the music heard constantly in her home. Her (professional) musician parents were either sitting at the piano or spinning discs on their turntable, filling the air with the sounds of big band jazz, harmony vocal groups, or the pop icons of the day. But the young Davies was particularly attracted to the bluesier sounds of her father's Ray Charles records, and by the age of 12 realized that her affinity for an instrument was not for the piano, but for the guitar.

The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra has named James Roe its new President & CEO and Susan Stucker its COO. Roe has been NJSO Acting Principal Oboe since 2011 and was previously Artistic and Executive Director of The Helicon Foundation. Stucker, previously the NJSO's Vice President of Operations & General Manager, had been serving as NJSO Interim President & CEO.

Sara Mearns, New York City Ballet principal dancer, will star in the production, which will be conducted by Music Director Alan Gilbert, directed and designed by Doug Fitch, choreographed by Karole Armitage, and produced by Edouard Getaz - tonight, June 27, 2013, at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, June 28 at 8:00 p.m.; and Saturday, June 29 at 8:00 p.m.

The forthcoming Broadway production REAR WINDOW has found its creative team in playwright Keith Reddin(Too Much Memory, Life and Limb) and director Terry Kinney (reasons to be pretty, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest). The play will be adapted from Cornell Woolrich's original short story, the iconic and haunting tale of the wheelchair-bound witness to a possible murder in his neighboring New York City apartment.

In 2013 all of us at VK DANCE are celebrating 20th anniversary of the opening of our dance center. A lot has changed since those early days in 1993. Starting with the name. Initially Kaiser Dance Academy was named to honor Julius "Gyula" Kaiser, the great dance coach and the dance father of the founder of the studio -Victor Kanevsky. At the time it was solely dedicated to training young aspiring dancers for greatness.
