Kennedy Center [Eisenhower Theatre]
2700 F Street, NW Washington, DC 20566

Based on the film Passione d'Amore directed by Ettore Scola

Based on the novel Fosca by I. U. Tarchetti

PASSION, winner of 4 Tony Awards including Best Music and Lyrics, Best Book, and Best Musical, features music and lyrics by the acclaimed Stephen Sondheim (Sweeney Todd, West Side Story, Company, Follies, Into The Woods, Gypsy) and book by James Lapine (Falsettos, Into The Woods, Sunday In The Park With George).

PASSION opened on Broadway in 1994, and received its London revival in 2010 at the Donmar Warehouse as part of Stephen Sondheim's 80th birthday celebrations.

Stephen Sondheim's PASSION revolves around a handsome Italian solider, Giorgio, separated from his beautiful mistress, who is shattered and ultimately changed by the unconditional and obsessive love of Fosca, his Colonel's chronically ill and plain cousin. Her unrelenting passions force him to re-evaluate his beliefs about love and attraction between two human beings.

Good For You Records Black Label Releases Electronic Music Producer Michael Callon's Deep and Dancey “Triangles and Shit EP”
by Robert Diamond - Nov 30, 2013

Producer Michael Callon - Michael has been creating music since the late 90's where he began as a singer and songwriter in a punk band. In 2002 his attraction to electronic dance music found him DJing regularly in the Los Angeles nightlife circuit, and in 2007 producing electronic dance music as well. Since then Michael's creative passion has led him to his second commercial release. The 'Triangles and Shit EP' consists of two dance-floor-creating, mood-moving songs, 'Everybody Give' and 'Anytime Dancer'. 'Everybody Give' is a spacious, deep, hypnotic and funky groove with an uplifting and positive lyric that flows in a verse chorus form. It works well in both big room and intimate lounge settings. 'Anytime Dancer' is a somewhat abstract funky driver with a techy underlying pattern. It has a brilliant fun lyrical sample in regards to dancing that will make you 'do whatever you wanna do'.
