ORLANDO, Fla., March 9, 2016 /PRNewswire/ Darden Restaurants, Inc. (NYSE: DRI) today reported that it expects diluted net earnings per share from continuing operations for its fiscal third quarter ended February 28, 2016, to be approximately 81 to 84 cents. On an adjusted basis, the Company expects diluted net earnings per share from continuing operations for its fiscal third quarter to be approximately $1.18 to $1.21. The adjusted results exclude debt breakage costs from the early retirement of debt and other fees associated with the spin-off of Four Corners Property Trust that was completed on November 9, 2015. Susan Vencl began choreographing late in life -- when she was almost old enough to collect Social Security -- and she gets philosophical about the passage of time. 'Your past and future are embedded in the present moment,' she says. That idea drives 'Long Before Afterward,' her dance of sliding movement, sweeping turns and Grecian patterns which play with our perspective in sometimes mathematical ways. The Hawkins- and Limon-influenced piece will be performed to a suite of nine expressionistic works by acclaimed composer Arlene Sierra and will be presented by Susan Vencl Dance for its debut February 19, 20 and 21 at 8:00 PM at Graham Center of Contemporary Dance, 55 Bethune Street.

The Irish Repertory Theatre (Charlotte Moore, Artistic Director and Ciaran O'Reilly, Producing Director) presents its first production of 2016, THE BURIAL AT THEBES written by Irish Nobel Laureate Seamus Heaney, based on Sophocles' Antigone.  Directed by Charlotte Moore, THE BURIAL AT THEBES will now star two-time Emmy Award-winner and Tony nominee Larry Bryggman (Proof, Picnic, "As the World Turns") as Creon, The King of Thebes (who replaces the previously announced John Cullum), and Rebekah Brockman (seen as Nettie on the acclaimed Cinemax series "The Knick") as Antigone.  THE BURIAL AT THEBES will be performed Thursday, January 14 - Sunday, March 6, 2016. Franklin Performing Arts Company (FPAC) presents 'Tis the Season!, an upbeat, jazzy extravaganza featuring members of the Kenny Hadley Big Band, with contemporary arrangements of favorite holiday classics in musical styles ranging from R&B, Motown and gospel to pop, jazz and Broadway.
