Latex or cotton? Sweet or sour? The explicit or the authentic? What turns you on? In What is Sexy?, WET presents a surprising and spicy exploration of the things that make you hot.

What is Sexy? will feature direction by WET founding member Marc Kenison.  The cast includes Colin Burn, Mikano Fukaya, Elise Hunt, Jonathan Martin, Lathrop Walker, and Jeanette Maus.

The design team includes Daniel Walker (set), Jessica Trundy (lighting), Heidi Ganser (costumes), and Matt Starrit(sound).            

Marc Kenison began his formal dance training at the Interlochen/> Arts/> Academy/>/> and went on to receive his BFA from The Julliard School. He was a member of both The Jose Limon Dance Company and Tere O'Connor Dance. Kenison's original performance work has been seen at various venues throughout New York/> (including The Judson Church, The 92nd Street Y and WAX), Seattle (The Ethnic Cultural Theater), and in Tokyo/> and Takamatsu/>, Japan/>/>. In 2004, Marc received his MFA in Acting from the University/> of Washington/>/> where he played Iago in Othello, Jacques in As You Like It and acted in plays by Chekhov, Pinter, and Nilo Cruz, among others.  At WET, Marc performed in seven productions. He has taught at NYU, Rutgers/> University/>/>, The University of Washington, Coyote Central, Eastside Prep and at various dance festivals nationwide.

The Washington Ensemble Theatre will be presenting What Is Sexy? as the final production of their smashing second season. Future projects include, Postcard Plays, the premiere production at Empty Space's new Lee/> Center/>/>, and In Disdress at On the Boards' NWNW Festival in June. WET is an ensemble of fifteen actors, designers, and artists committed to bringing highly collaborative and well produced works to the Capitol Hill and Seattle community. Currently, WET is under the umbrella of Theatre Puget Sound as a non-profit organization in the state of Washington/>/>.
