Village Theatre Pied Piper will present Fancy Nancy & Other Story Books at the Everett Civic Auditorium on May 6, 2012. This adorable performance is based on the cherished story books by respected children's authors: Jane O'Connor, Doreen Cronin & Betsy Lewin, Robert Munsch, Mo Willems, Melinda Long, and Jennifer & Matthew Holm.

Six delightful stories come to life in a new musical revue by New York's TheatreworksUSA. When a girl in frills, not-so scary monster, politically ambitious duck, babysitting pirates, would-be star mouse, and a boy in a, well… uncomfortable situation… take the stage, young audiences will be tapping their toes and laughing along. Performed by a five-member cast who portray dozens of characters throughout the show, the stories represent various issues, themes, and ideas relevant to a broad and diverse audience of children.

Tickets are sold through Village Theatre and are $15. It is festival seating and recommended for ages 3 and up. The run time is 60 minutes with no intermission. One hour prior to curtain, young people are invited to participate in themed pre-show arts, crafts, and fun in partnership with Imagine Children's Museum.
