Hosted for you by a 2014 theatre trifecta - Theater Schmeater, MAP Theatre, and Playing in Progress - come enjoy cocktails and camaraderie with us to celebrate Seattle's giant day of big-hearted giving, GiveBIG.

Central Cinema has a kick ass Happy Hour, and they are graciously letting the Seattle Theatre community take it over! Drop in for a few minutes to say hi, or settle in to raise a glass or two and have a bite to eat. Computers will be available for you to make contributions to your favorite non-profit. (And just for stopping by, you get a free hug and a souvenir button!)

The Seattle Foundation's GiveBIG is a one-day, online charitable giving event to inspire people to give generously to nonprofit organizations who make our region a healthier and more vital place to live.

2014 is a big year for The Schmee, Theater Schmeater's brand new space is launching this summer! Not only will Theater Schmeater be producing its fantastic regular season, but will also be hosting MAP & PiP at their new Belltown home! In October will be MAP Theatre's next mainstage (The Art of Bad Men, by local playwrite Vincent Delaney, directed by Kelly Kitchens), and in December, Playing in Progress' inaugural production will be staged (SnowGlobed - an evening of holiday inspired scenes and spectacles by local playwrights, curated & directed by Rachel Delmar).

Come find out more about what this trifecta is up to this year, and also do what everyone wants to do on a Tuesday: Have a drink!

MAP Theatre and Playing in Progress are both proudly umbrellaed under The Shunpike.
